Bank Negara raids Walton offices

BANK Negara Thursday raided Walton International Property Group (M) Sdn Bhd following complaints from the public on land banking schemes promoted by the company.
The central bank said in a statement yesterday that the raids were simultaneously conducted at the premises of the company in Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching.
It advises the public to be cautious of this type of land banking schemes promoted by Walton.
“Any elements of deposit-taking activities and public offerings such as interest schemes or investment in real estate schemes should be referred to the appropriate authorities such as Bank Negara, Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia and Securities Commission,” it says. — Bernama

Canada Land Banking Investment
- The Land Banking is very high risk investment, and so far, i haven't see any good performance from this investment. If you google "Walton International SCAM or EdgeWorth Property Pte Ltd?" @google.com, you will be able to see many complaints @investment forum. Just be careful when land banking investment agent approach you.

- For me, if you want to invest Land Banking, you should buy IJM Land, SP Setia, Mah Sing Group and etc. This is a real business, which is managed by High Quality Managment Team.

  2. I live in British Columbia, Canada and I myself, family and friend have been investing in longterm projects managed by Walton International. I'm not sure why you conclude the company is a scam. The company is reputable here in Canada, and the investments provide good return. I certainly cannot speak to the companies mentioned above (SP Setia, Mah Sing etc, as I have never heard of them), but please learn more about the companies you discuss before discrediting them.

  3. Please get your facts right before posting. Do not put shame on Msian.

Do you really know what is landbanking ? There's no way you could do landbank with those companies you mention. Suggest that you educate yourself by attending a Walton seminar or ask the consultant in detail on what Walton does and what it offers to investors.

I'm neutral towards Walton International. Here, we share the latest investment news & our experience/opinion to our readers.

So far, there're many complaints at Singapore forum/UK forum towards this company. Just be careful when you invest.

I don't have right to make any conclusion towards Walton International but it's being probe by Bank Negara and Securities Commission.

  5. hm...i am wondering which cheap forums you get this from. A great and capable investor is an investor who take action based on what they see, hear and understand. if you didnt go to that company to understand their concept and only do research solely based on internet, sorry, i can say you have no right to judge other people and publish such articles. i have paid a visit to their company in KL and i found their business core is SUSTAINABLE and RELIABLE. Their current investigation status in Bank Negara Malaysia website is CLEARED. A scheme company in Malaysia can only sustain not more than 3 years due to continous public complain and authorities raid. WALTON Malaysia has been here for more than 7 YEARS! After studying their business core, i can say they are safe and I plan to buy few units from them. Do remember bukit beruntung? it is managed by local company and it went to ashes after few years. Investors left nothing but ash land in Bukit Beruntung. so, u can say local company provide guarantee return? dont make me laugh. i not saying mah sing, ijm or other local company is not good. i just want you to make sure u study a company throughly before publish conclusion. if you publish articles without the characteristic i mentioned above, please dont simply call yourself 'investor' and put up warren buffet picture. Even warren buffet has these basic characteristic before invest. Have a nice day.

    1. Be careful on comments from Walton International's Agent.

Internet is a good source for them to promote their sales.
